Magical Triangle For Evocation Of Taphthartharath

This circle is acombination ofthe Octagram, Octangle and Octagon (these three
figures relating to Hod and Mercury). This comes from the Golden Dawn lecture
'Polygons and Polygrams'. The Octangle relates to the eight lettered name YHVH
ADNI and can be reflected in three ways; reflected from every second point when
it is called the octagon and fkom every third and fourth point when called the
octagrarn. The octangle also represents the weak semi-quartile aspect of astrology
and had to be reinforced by the octagrarn and octagon. The combinations relate to
the strengthening aspect of both elements and planets. This may appear confusing,
it suffices to say that when the three figures are transposed on top, all weak lines are
omitted, with component parts strengthening each other to its maximum efficiency.
