An early diagnostic safeguards a successful <strong>the</strong>rapy<br />

It is of special importance that abnormalities that are detected early, have<br />

<strong>the</strong> best chance of a successful treatment. Please use <strong>the</strong> experience in <strong>the</strong><br />

gynaecological HPV diagnostic. You can detect abnormalities in tissue and<br />

mucosa at an early stage and find <strong>the</strong>m with <strong>the</strong> colposcope. You ca detect<br />

abnormalities that are not visible to <strong>the</strong> naked eye.<br />

Hysteroscopy<br />

Hysteroscopy is a method of looking at <strong>the</strong> inside of <strong>the</strong> uterus – <strong>the</strong> cavum<br />

uteri – with optical instruments and video devices. It is possible to remove<br />

abnomal tissue with special devices. For control of bleeding high-frequency<br />

current is used.<br />

Indications for a hysteroscopy:<br />

■ Bleeding disorders<br />

■ Distinctive findings during an ultrasound testing<br />

■ Diagnosis of benign and malignant tumours in <strong>the</strong> uterus<br />

■ Removal of fibroids and myoma extended into <strong>the</strong> uterus<br />

■ Diagnosis of factors responsible for acyesis<br />

(abnormalities or adhesions in <strong>the</strong> cavity of <strong>the</strong> uterus)<br />

■ Follow up on previous procedures within <strong>the</strong> uterus<br />

■ Finding and removing loops<br />
