Jean-Louis Charon began his career at the French Ministry of Industry,<br />

as Head Officer for Foreign Investments. Then he joined GE Medical<br />

Systems, and then became Managing Director of GEC Thomson<br />

Airborne Radars. He was then appointed Managing Director of<br />

CGIS, the property department of Vivendi Universal. He organized<br />

the LBO on Nexity, of which he integrated the Executive Board and<br />

then the Supervisory Board. In 2003, he established Nexstar Capital<br />

in partnership with LBO France (Property Investment Fund). He<br />

set up City Star in 2005. Citystar is an Investment and Investment<br />

Management Company active in Property as well as in Industry both<br />

in Europe and Asia.<br />

Om Chaudhry is the CEO of the FIRE Capital Fund, the real estate<br />

centric private equity fund that has created several JV companies<br />

across the country to deliver a total built up area of nearly 40M<br />

sq.ft. Each of these developments is a large format-integrated<br />

township with residential & related verticals of mixed use. Under his<br />

leadership, FIRE Capital Management has sponsored a development<br />

company: Astrum Homes. Through this model, FIRE Capital has<br />

focused its attention on Value Housing with a preference for<br />

locating its projects in Tier II cities. Before starting FIRE Capital,<br />

Om was a Partner at Feedback Ventures. Om has a B. Tech. degree<br />

Mr. Chiaranussati founded <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> Capital Asia Partners(RECAP),<br />

late 2004. RECAP I and II have invested in excess of US$410 million<br />

capital and the third Fund RECAP III, was launched in 3Q 2011.<br />

Mr. Chiaranussati participates in acquisition, value enhancement<br />

and realization activities at RECAP and serves as Chairman of the<br />

Investment Committee. Before forming RECAP, Mr Chiaranussati<br />

spent five years with Westbrook Partners and Westbrook <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong><br />

Partners (WREP). He opened WREP’s Asia office in Singapore in March<br />

1999 and served as a Managing Director responsible for WREP’s Asian<br />

investment activities.<br />

Choy-Soon Chua is the Managing Director, responsible for global<br />

real estate investments for SEB Asset Management AG, based<br />

out of Frankfurt, Germany. Prior to SEB, Choy-Soon worked in GIC<br />

<strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong>, the real estate investment arm of the Government of<br />

Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC), both in the US as well as<br />

in Europe. SEB Asset Management AG is a wholly-owned subsidiary<br />

of SEB AG. SEB Investment GmbH, SEB Asset Management AG’s real<br />

estate investment company, is a leading real estate fund manager in<br />

Germany. With fund assets of around EUR 11.0 billion, SEB Investment<br />

GmbH is the fourth-largest provider of open-ended real estate<br />

mutual funds in Germany.
