3 Arrival and Departure<br />
3.1 General<br />
Berth approval must be applied for not less than 24 hours prior to the ship’s arrival with the<br />
VTS centre of the Hamburg Port Authority by telephone or in writing.<br />

3.2 Dangrous Goods and waste<br />
Additional declarations are required for ships carrying dangerous goods and/or shipgenerated<br />
wastes.<br />
