All reporting points are shown on the sea chart as well.<br />
Also on VHF channel 74: position reports during berthing and departing, prior to leaving a<br />
port basin or port shipping channel as well as prior to crossing a shipping channel.<br />
11.3 PIlotage<br />
RIVER ELBE PILOTS<br />
Their territory covers the area between the "E 3" buoy in the German Bight Light Vessel and<br />
the port of Hamburg, including all ports and berths on the River Elbe.<br />
The Elbe Pilots currently use four pilot stations: Hamburg, Brunsbüttel, Cuxhaven and the<br />
sea station "ELBE" near the "ELBE” light buoy.<br />
The sea station near the "ELBE” light buoy is the principal station for all vessels entering the<br />
River Elbe.<br />
