Irritability and Aggression in HD • REMEMBER: we are talking about confronting an individual with HD and he or she is presenting with irritability and aggression • Because of HD, we might expect: • Reduced insight • Less control • Lack of judgment • Disinhibition • Greater emotional lability • The person dealing with a crisis should NOT expect an “aha!” moment
