Section 2: Central Outer Tracker 11 shifts, or to measure wire tensions and correct problems on the owl shift. They have been on shift almost continuously, one on each shift. The stringing should be nished in early June. The Harvard group will continue to be involved in the mechanical construction and checkout of the COT. We will also be responsible for writing the online code which calculates and monitors drift velocity and t 0 's for the COT. This is necessary to have working constants for the trigger Level3 tracking code to run. This is part of a larger eort of ours to understand the details of the COT chamber using a detailed Monte Carlo described in the next section.
