which can be best realised with the forward-chaining inference technique. The<br />

expert system should first ask the user <strong>to</strong> select a particular task, and once the<br />

task is selected, the system should direct troubleshooting by asking the user for<br />

additional information until the fault is found.<br />

Let us develop a general rule structure. In each rule, we need <strong>to</strong> include<br />
