BAPTISMS Please call the Parish Office to make arrangements to have your child baptized. Baptisms are usually scheduled the 2 nd Sunday of the Month during the Noon Liturgy, and the 4 th Sunday of the Month at 1:30pm. A baptismal preparation class is necessary for parents and godparents. PARISH SPIRITUAL LIBRARY Our Parish Spiritual Library is located in the church narthex. Patrons are asked to fill in a simple form with name and contact information (which will be kept in the Parish Office). Then, one can check out a book by signing the card in the back pocket, and placing that card in the check-out basket. Please try to return the book in 2-3 weeks. Returned books can be placed in the marked location on a lower shelf. There will also be a shelf with magazines; these can be borrowed and do not have to be signed out. Happy reading! FIRST COMMUNION Parents of children entering 2 nd grade and wanting to receive 1 st Communion next year must contact the office immediately. CONFIRMATION Program has officially started. Students going in grade 9 or higher and wanting to be confirmed next year must contact the office immediately. RELIGIOUS EDUCATION for youth ages 4 through 14. All children not attending Catholic school are invited to register in religious education. Classes are on Thursdays, September through April from 6:30 PM to 7:45 PM. Forms due now. For children ages 8 to 16 who have not been baptized or received the sacraments of 1 st Eucharist and Confirmation classes are available. Register now. RCIA Rite of Christian Initiation For Adults RCIA is an opportunity for Non-Christian (unbaptized) adults to learn more about the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Church. RCIA is an opportunity for Non-Catholic but baptized adults to learn more about the Catholic Church, especially the gift of Holy Communion. RCIA is an opportunity for baptized Catholic adults who may not have had much formal religious training, to prepare for the sacraments of First Holy Communion, Reconciliation, or Confirmation. The RCIA program meets through the fall and winter at St. Clement Mary Hofbauer Parish Office and is open to all interested adults (18 or older). We are just a phone call or email away.
