TC Agenda Item 6
Mailout - 04//12
RTP and conformity receive final approval, the projects will be eligible for advancement into the
TIP using available funds (including the 2012 Call for Projects).
Finally, in reference your question “The City of Rosenberg has plans to widen Brian Road (from
FM 2218 to FM 2977) to a 4 lane divided roadway before the year 2016. Could an MPO ID# be
established indicating this locally funded project?” As we are in the process of completing an
RTP amendment and conformity finding we are unable to add an added capacity project to the
RTP at this time. However, we expect another RTP amendment and conformity update to occur
within the next 12 months and the project could be added at that time.
