Senior Catch –Up Day<br />
A large number of students will be required to<br />
attend school on Friday 9 September. These<br />
students have been requested to attend by<br />
their teachers because they require further<br />
credits and need to complete assessments /<br />
further assessment opportunities.<br />
Parents/caregivers will be notified if your child<br />
is required to attend school. Teachers have<br />
also informed these students. We would<br />
appreciate your assistance with ensuring your<br />
child attends school on this day.<br />
Junior Academic Dean<br />
A warm welcome to Mr Rob Webster who has<br />
returned to our community after a two year<br />
stint teaching in Vietnam. Mr Webster is<br />
assisting Mrs Benns in her work as Academic<br />
Dean and will have a particular focus on Years 9<br />
and 10 students. If you have any concerns<br />
about your child’s learning at junior level,<br />

Senior Reports<br />
These will be issued on Wednesday 28<br />
September and will give both students and<br />
parents an update of progress in NCEA courses.<br />
It is important that students make the most of<br />
feedback and feedfoward they have received<br />
from both exams and reports to prepare for<br />
external exams in November.<br />
Parent interviews, for both Senior and Junior,<br />
will be held the following week on Thursday 6<br />
October.<br />
