PARENT HANDBOOK<br />

We provide a <strong>Parent</strong> <strong>Handbook</strong> which<br />

contains information for parents about our<br />

school as well as our school calendar for the<br />

year in concise format.<br />

SYNREVOICE<br />

This au<strong>to</strong>mated phone system is used <strong>to</strong><br />

send phone and email messages <strong>to</strong> all<br />

parents or specific groups or classes about<br />

upcoming events or important information<br />

requiring parents’ attention.<br />

important dates for the month and a number<br />

It contains information regarding upcoming<br />

events, activities planned by each grade,<br />

student write-ups about their learning,<br />

message from the principal and<br />

superintendent and many more items.<br />

CURRICULUM NEWSLETTER - distributed<br />

at the beginning <strong>of</strong> each reporting period.<br />

ANNUAL SCHOOL REPORT AND<br />

SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT PLAN for the<br />

previous school year available for parents<br />

on the website in Oc<strong>to</strong>ber.<br />

OFF-SITE PERMISSION FORMS sent<br />

home prior <strong>to</strong> every field trip <strong>to</strong> outline<br />

purpose and details.<br />

STUDENT/PARENT/TEACHER<br />

CONFERENCES are scheduled 3 times per<br />

year. Further information is available<br />

throughout the year by contacting the<br />

teacher.<br />

We meet with parents in September for an<br />

“Information Exchange” which constitutes<br />

our first reporting period. We encourage<br />

ongoing dialogue and involvement with<br />

every parent. Staff welcomes your<br />

questions and comments.<br />
