Q: What is a Concession project in the transport
sector?
Ans: A cooperation between the public and private sectors for
the financing, development and operation of transport
infrastructure.
BOT/BOOT/DBFO/PFI = PPP Model
Slide: 3
Key issues in the PPP business model
• Precise definition of the tasks assigned to each
party – Risk allocation.
The greater is the risk allocated to the private party
the smaller is the public involvement.
• Measuring the project’s performance, as set by the
contract.
Above depends on the extent to which the State and
the Lenders can control and monitor the agent’s
performance in the various phases of the contract.
related with the safety and the convenience of
300.000 users per day !!!
