c) LA, LAM: It was clarified, that photo_file is also part of the key. Please, submit
”-9” in case of data which are not related to any photo file.
3.2 Amendments to Version 5.3c
a) LAI, LAM and LAP: Text in forms was revised in order to adapt name
specification for photo files to the format of the explanatory item (125).
3.3 Amendments to Version 5.3b
a) MM, MEO: The unit for Matric Potential in explanatory item (62) was corrected
to hPa (as already stated in explanatory item (64) instead of kPa.
3.4 Amendments to Version 5.3a
a) SO, SOM and LQA: Parameter It was corrected in parameter list in explanatory
item (113) that parameter CaCO3 is specified to be “Carbonates” instead of
C_CO3. In addition, in form SOM carbonates was amended by “CaCO3”:
Carbonates (g/kg CaCO3)
b) LQAs: In all LQA forms the format for the coefficient of variation of the control
charts was changed from I 3 to F 3 in order to allow for submission of values
from .01 to 999. Lower or higher values are to be reported as defined in the
General Remarks section for higher values.
c) FO, FOM and FOO, sample code: In order to allow for a submission of data on
leaves which are older than current year (code “0”) but without the possibility of
distinction between “current year +1” (code “1”) and “oder than current + 1”
(code “2”) an additional code “3” was introduced in explanatory item (38).
3.5 Amendments to Version 5.3
a) MM, Wind direction: Explanatory item (64) was corrected according to
Amendment indes to Version 5.2, point b): 12 sections with 30° instead of 8
sections with 45°. The examples, which were correct already, remain unchanged.
3.6 Amendments to Version 5.2i
a) LA, LAP: The field is part of the key of this form in order to allow
for the submission of more than one parameter per photo file.
b) MM, WD: It was clarified in explanatory item (64) that wind direction has to be
submitted not with 8 but with 12 possible sections, each with 30° range. In any
case, as before, the middle of the range has to be submitted. E.g. “0”, “30”, “60”,
…, “330”.
