Section 4 Problem Resolutions Student (SHRTTRM) data exists for specified PIDM and Term Code. Confirm this is using the trigger ST_SHRTGPA_INSERT_ODS_CHANGE to track any changes made. Resolution The call was moved to insert ENROLLMENT change records from trigger ST_SHRTTRM_INSERT_ODS_CHANGE to trigger ST_SHRTGPA_INSERT_ODS_CHANGE. 1-Q4DPP Impact The table MST_INSTRUCTIONAL_ASSIGNMENT was not being updated for changes in SPRIDEN because the name MST_INSTRUCTIONAL_ASSIGNMENT was used instead of INSTRUCTIONAL_ASSIGNMENT. Resolution The name MST_INSTRUCTIONAL_ASSIGNMENT was being used in the trigger to pick up changes from SPRIDEN. The mapping uses INSTRUCTIONAL_ASSIGNMENT so the updates were not happening. 1-QGK6A Impact In the 3.0 release, the change table used to refresh the MST_ACADEMIC_OUTCOME table in the ODS was changed from SHRDCHG to SPRPCHG. The change was reflected in the OWB mappings. However, the changes were not reflected in the triggers on two of the tables. Thus, records were being inserted into the incorrect change table and were not being processed for the refresh. Resolution The triggers ST_SHBDIPL_INSERT_ODS_CHANGE and ST_SHRTCKD_INSERT_ODS_CHANGE were modified to insert ACADEMIC_OUTCOME change records into SPRPCHG. 1-S4D8S Impact The name changes in SPRIDEN are not reflected in MST_ADVISOR fields, ADVISOR_ID, ADVISOR_FIRST_NAME, ADVISOR_LAST_NAME, ADVISOR_NAME_FLMI, ADVISOR_NAME_LFMI. These fields have been replaced with a new function, MSKFUNC.F_GET_MST_PERSON_INFO. Resolution Created new function, MSKFUNC.F_GET_MST_PERSON_INFO which retrieves the ID, FIRST_NAME, LAST_NAME, LFMI_NAME, FLMI_NAME for the ADVISOR_UID for the ADVISOR view. Section 4 Problem Resolutions General Miscellaneous General Miscellaneous 1-10GY3R Impact The client is not able to import the Oracle Discoverer workbooks. Resolution There was a workbook in the EUL that had an apostrophe in the document description (description of the AF33 workbook). The character was showing up as an upside down "?." It is evidently an unprintable character in the database. The character was removed and the workbooks were re-exported. This made it possible to import the workbooks into Discoverer. 1-1A27V5 Impact The document Report Studio8_ODS_Install_Instructions.doc in the ods30000i\reports\Cognos_Report Studio\Cognos8 folder is missing one step in the page 5 of the document. I think it would be necessary to tell the person responsible for the install to copy over the file "crn_ods_templates.zip" in the directory /Development. This will make the template appear in the content administration page. On the page 13 of the document "Report Studio8_ODS_Install_Instructions.doc" of the folder "ods30000i\reports\Cognos_Report Studio\Cognos8" I receive an error "This portlet cannot be displayed because it is disabled.” This error is happening when the page is disabled and it would be a good thing to show the client on how to enable the page so that he can continue in the installation. To enable the page you have to click on edit on the top right, click on the general tab and then uncheck the box "Disable this entry". Sometime you have to go on the folder on the public tab and change it there because the check box is disabled and don’t permit a check or uncheck. Resolution The documentation was updated to tell clients to copy the deployment archive to the Cognos deployment directory. Instructions were also added to remove the disabling of the packages after an import. 1-1CU1IU Impact The business model for Purchase Payable within the COGNOS Report Studio model now retrieves document level accounting records as well as the commodity level accounting records for reports. This was accomplished by creating a new relationship between the Purchase Order and Purchase Order Accounting and removing the old relationship between Purchase Order Item and Purchase Order Accounting.
