2011 Adve rtising Keeps Mary Kay Front and Center
This year’s advertising campaign will cover a wide range of media partnerships from broadcast
to print to digital/mobile communication.
When your customers tune in to ABC, they’ll see that Mary Kay is the Exclusive Beauty Sponsor
of the season finale of ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. The show will air Sunday,
May 15 8|7c on ABC. Last year the show averaged 9.5 million viewers per episode!
In June, Mary Kay® product TV commercials will air on the Lifetime Channel and will feature a
consumer sweepstakes – including weekly prizes for sweepstakes entrants! Also in June, Mary
Kay® product TV commercials will begin airing on Univision. In August, Univision’s Sabado
Gigante will feature a Backstage Beauty Lounge Sponsorship where host Don Francisco will send the cameras backstage to
check in on the models.
Mary Kay advertising messages also will appear in several popular general market and Spanish-language magazines,
including Marie Claire; O, The Oprah Magazine, Essence, Cosmo en Español, Vanidades and many more starting with June
(on stands in May) issues.
Later this fall, Mary Kay will conduct on-campus events along with Seventeen and Cosmo Magazine. These events which will
be promoted by great print advertising and will offer some fun sampling opportunities!
