Step Condition and Jump Condition<br />

Every step body contains a:<br />

• Step Condition - if <strong>the</strong> step condition <strong>is</strong> fulfilled,<br />

<strong>Sequencer</strong> continues processing at <strong>the</strong> next step<br />

• Jump Condition - if <strong>the</strong> jump condition <strong>is</strong> fulfilled,<br />

<strong>Sequencer</strong> continues processing at a specified step (which<br />

can also be <strong>the</strong> current step).<br />

Note If both <strong>the</strong> step condition and <strong>the</strong> jump condition are true,<br />

advancing to <strong>the</strong> next step takes precedence over <strong>the</strong> jump.<br />

The following diagram shows th<strong>is</strong>:<br />

By default:<br />

• Jump Write OnExit <strong>is</strong> False, which means On Exit output<br />

values are not written for a jump transition.<br />

• Step Write OnExit <strong>is</strong> True, which means On Exit output<br />

values are written for a step transition.<br />

You can change th<strong>is</strong> setting for any given step in your<br />

program.<br />
