Adding Comments to <strong>Sequencer</strong> <strong>Object</strong>s<br />

You can give your step program a meaningful comment to<br />

help you describe it. The Step Program comment does not<br />

have any functional significance.<br />

To add or modify a comment of a Step Program<br />

1 Click <strong>the</strong> Step Program tab. The Step Program panel<br />

appears.<br />

2 In <strong>the</strong> Comment box, enter a comment.<br />

Locking <strong>the</strong> Step Program<br />

You can lock your step program so that<br />

• <strong>the</strong> step program cannot be edited in derived instances<br />

and templates.<br />

• changes are propagated from templates to instances.<br />

• users cannot change <strong>the</strong> step program configuration at<br />

run time.<br />

The following settings are locked if <strong>the</strong> step program <strong>is</strong><br />

locked:<br />

• Step Program Name<br />

• Initial Step Name<br />

• Final Step Name<br />

• Step Program Comment<br />

• Configuration of all steps<br />

• Output values of all steps<br />

• Importing Step Program<br />

• Clearing Step Program<br />

• Removing and renaming of Aliases that are used in <strong>the</strong><br />

step program, even if <strong>the</strong> Alias configuration <strong>is</strong> not<br />

locked.<br />

To lock <strong>the</strong> Step Program<br />

1 Click <strong>the</strong> Step Program tab. The Step Program panel<br />

appears.<br />
