Governor’s
Message
We are half way through the Key Club year! I am
so impressed with the amount of service I have seen
throughout the district. Your dedication to make a
difference is reason for me to celebrate. It’s the holiday
season and things may be getting a little stressful
as you are managing school, Key Club, family, and
a social life. I want to remind you that there is always
something to celebrate in life. Every time your Key
Club does a service project, you are impacting the
world. Take time to recognize these little things and
celebrate your success.
Officers, take time to look at your members and
give them praise for the hard work they have put into
Key Club this year. Talk to your faculty and Kiwanis
advisors about hosting a holiday social to celebrate
the friendships that are developed through Key Club.
Speaking of Kiwanis, now is a great time to celebrate
having adults to volunteer with your Key Club. Make
a service project out of it by making personalized
thank you cards for your sponsoring Kiwanis club, or
sending some baked goods to their next DCM.
Celebrate what’s right in your life, and realize
that as a Key Club member, you make more of a difference
than you know. Key Club is something to be
proud of, Key Club is something to celebrate.
United in Friendship & Service,
