was time to sit down for dinner…the food
was lovely! After tea we got ready for bed
and once again.....no-one got too much
sleep! On Sunday we had some free time, so
we put it to good use and decided to have a
water fight! We then had to do conservation
work and cleaning duties! I got allocated to
work in the kitchen. This wasn’t as bad as I
initially thought it would be because
everyone teamed together and did their fair
share. We got the kitchen cleaned up quickly
and got rewarded with a bag of sweets!
I had a great time at Crabbé and would like
to thank all the staff who helped and made
it a great trip, thank you!

St Peter’s Youth Club Ski Trip

St Peter’s Youth club were able to go on this
holiday due to the hard work that the Youth
Club members and I put into the fundraising,
which included bag packing, sponsored walks,
car boot sales, fashion show, fêtes and many
more. Through this fundraising we managed to
raise £12,000, which made this trip possible
and gave us the chance to do many activities,
which included skiing and snowboarding
lessons, ice skating, a show night, exploring
the town and a relaxing afternoon at a local
spa. On our final night we all went out for a
meal to celebrate our achievements, which
was kindly funded by Youth Bank Jersey.
It was a really enjoyable experience to learn
new skills and come together as a group. This
is something we will never forget and we are
all extremely grateful for the opportunity.

Things to look forward to!
There are a lot of exiting things coming up this
year for the Youth Club as we are looking to
develop and improve areas of the Youth Club
building next term. This has stemmed from the
Brighter Building Survey provided by the Jersey
Youth Service and now we have formed a
working group to manage this process.
Other events I am looking forward to is the West
Show where the Bus Project and the Body Zorbs
will be present, the Christmas Fayre and many
more fundraisers
