Your campus tour will be led by a current student across our 200 acre campus of red
brick buildings and tall pines. This walking tour will give you the opportunity to experience Whitworth
University’s 100 year history by offering student life and academic insights from a current
student as well as a specialized tour of our emerging business school. Advisers encouraged to
attend.
2:30 p.m.-4:00 p.m. CATERPILLAR LOGISTICS, INC. BUS LEAVES AT 12:30

Caterpillar Logistics provides world-class supply chain solutions and services to its parent
company, Caterpillar, Inc. The Spokane Distribution Center, which employs over 150 people,
opened in 2012 and spans over a half million square feet. The tour will include an overview of
Caterpillar and a tour of the parts distribution center. Advisers encouraged to attend! Wear closed
toe shoes.
3:00 p.m.-4:45 p.m. EASTERN WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY BUS LEAVES AT 2:30

Tour Eastern Washington University by a student tour guide. Learn about Eastern and
what we can offer high school students. See academic buildings, the University Rec Center, dining
locations, and other buildings on campus. Advisers encouraged to attend.
3:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m. PROVIDENCE HEALTH CARE FOUNDATION. BUS LEAVES AT 2:45
90 minutes 60 participants
Visit our new Pediatric Emergency Clubhouse and our Pediatric wings and learn about
our Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital. Next, we will demonstrate our high-fi delity manikins. See
how we train staff in life-threatening situations with the adult and the mother-baby manikin simulators.
Then, come see how we use state-of-the-art technology to treat cancer patients. Review
career opportunities in cancer care, radiation oncologist physician, medical physicist, dosimitrist,
radiation therapist, registered nurse, and tumor registry. Advisers encouraged to attend!
3:30 p.m.-4:15 p.m. NORTH BY NORTHWEST BUS LEAVES AT 3:15

North by Northwest is a full-service digital studio, focusing on video and interactive production.
With shops in Spokane and Boise, they offer four unique divisions. These divisions include
production, interactive, nonfi ction, and entertainment. Advisers encouraged to attend.
