This presentation will prepare you for a job search specific to you, including tips<br />
and strategies for teens looking for a summer or part-time job. These tips cover the<br />
gamut from how to get ready to job hunt, how to apply, and the best opportunities for<br />
teens with little or no work experience. Department <strong>of</strong> Labor laws regarding when<br />
and where a teen can work are also discussed.<br />

General walking tour <strong>of</strong> Gonzaga’s campus led by one <strong>of</strong> our Student Ambassadors. You<br />
will see the main academic buildings as well as the student center, fi tness center, and library. Wear<br />

10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. US DISTRICT COURT BUS LEAVES AT 9:45<br />
90 minutes 40 participants<br />
Volunteers from the Clerk’s Offi ce, Probation Offi ce, and chambers perform a scripted<br />
courtroom presentation <strong>of</strong> you. The presentation highlights various stages <strong>of</strong> a criminal trial<br />
from initial arraignment to post-sentencing. You get to participate as co-counsel for each side,<br />
witnesses, and as challenged jurors. The presentation lasts about 40 minutes. It is followed by a<br />
Q&A period with a judge and presentation by the US Marshals. Live proceedings may be visited.<br />

North by Northwest is a full-service digital studio, focusing on video and interactive<br />
production. With shops in Spokane and Boise, they <strong>of</strong>fer four unique divisions. These divisions<br />
include production, interactive, nonfi ction, and entertainment. Advisers encouraged to attend.<br />
