machinery for leak checks, flow monitoring, and
functionality tests for the medium water, air, helium and
inert gas with great continuity and constantly growing

Company founder
Engineer Wolfgang Schillings realized a
dream when he founded innomatec Inc
in June of 1983. Since then, innomatec
has gained 20 years of experience in
constructing specialized machinery and
measuring technology, especially in the
areas of leak checks and flow monitoring.
The most valuable starting capital was
a hand full of motivated, competent
workers.

field measuring and control technique,
took over the responsibility of CEO of
innomatec GmbH. He learned in the
fatherly company the construction of
special test benches. He is familiar with
control engineering, mechanic, pneumatic
incl. measuring technique. 1997 he joined
innomatec as sales director for the leak
measurement devices and test benches.

All innomatec workers have one thing in common: they

as a simple, convenient, reliable and cost-effective
solution has been found.
This commitment is a pre-condition for the test bench
manufacturing. Universal solutions are inexistent. Each
new job is a new challenge for us and we benefit from
our wide knowledge. We got our experiences from all
industry sectors, this enables us due to our wide and
deep knowledge, to offer a better solution. It makes no
difference if it is a sealing element a self-constructed
leak test device or a test bench. A project leader coordinates
the project with the departments mentioned
below. This relieves our customers and ensures a
smoothly procedure till the completion.

Our new location accommodates about 15 highly motivated employees
in an office and production area for the assembly of test- and special
equipment for industrial function and leak testing. Besides the production
of these measuring devices, we also provide after-sales and calibration
services.

The visual underwater inspection is usually the most
economical procedure of leakage testing with visual
leak detection for certain specimen, especially with hot
welded parts, with larger volumes, moving specimen or
high test pressures. Here many companies also value
our experience in the construction of dip tanks and
flooding systems.
The combination of the pressure test with a Leak
Measurement Computer and visual underwater
inspection equipment, either in form of a dip tank or
a flooding system, provides the customer with the
possibility of dry serial testing and direct localising of
leakages.

Customers make high demands on test benches.
Beside the standard measurements like leakage or flow
often the following assembly operations are requested:

Substantial function-, leakage- and flow tests can
be executed also the continuously numbering. Through
the software the measuring data will be archived and

business unit trace gas systems provides independent
of the method ready to use, customer-specific test
benches for leak testing with gases like helium and

realize the test benches. The leakage will be specified

Manufacturer of high pressure and burst test

the department’s measurement technology, machine
construction and safety engineering is enormous.
Since 1990 innomatec has been manufacturing many
types of high pressure and burst test benches for
serial productions or random sampling in laboratories.

Depending on the concept the suitable test method
and medium will be chosen. As possible solutions
the trace gas method, decrease of pressure method
and the increase of pressure method are available.
The concept will be presented and realized in our
company. For burst tests special procedures have been
determined in order to achieve any pressure increase
impulsive or linear. That makes a accurate monitoring
of the burst point possible. The characteristics of the
samples during the burst test can be displayed, logged,
printed and archived with the innomatec test software.
Often PC-supported systems are used in addition
to the classical PLC-steering. In order to meet the
high pressure requirements for the sealing technique
special sealing elements have been developed. In spite
of the high test pressure the sealing elements can be
changed easily and seal likewise the later operating
condition.

plug-in manually the Quick Connector system or move
pneumatically and load with pressure air or reverse
hand lever - an elastic sealing rubber will nestle to the
tubes, stubs, fittings, drillings and openings inside or
outside. Within seconds the sample will be sealed.
Special connectors with sliding device for high
pressures. Special connectors will be manufactured for
special tasks or dimensions. Cost-effective and with
short delivery times. The constitution of the sample is
not the deciding factor. It doesn’t make any difference
whether is round, oval or quadrate with uncouth or flat
surface, made of aluminium, VA steel, or plastic. The
