3 - 14 Kinrade - Jurby Family History, Volume III 3.22.3 Ann Kinread (5125) was baptized on the 31st of May, 1735, at Ballaugh. She inherited 5s under her mother’s Will of 1741. She died in 1748 and was buried at Ballaugh on the 3rd of June. The 3s 7d expended on her funeral was deducted from her inheritance and the remaining 1s 5d was divided between her surviving sisters. 3.22.4 Margaret Kinread (5126) was baptized on the 30th of August, 1739, at Ballaugh. She inherited 5s under her mother’s Will of 1741. 3.23 John Kinrade—1758 3.23.1 John Kinrade (2850) was born circa 1758. He married Margaret Killey circa 1777, probably in Jurby. See 3.24 for details of his descendants. 3.23.1.1 Margaret Killey (2851) was born circa 1758. She married John Kinrade circa 1777, probably in Jurby. She married Patrick Lawson on the 16th of December, 1815, at Jurby, see Volume II, 1.27.1. She was buried on the 1st of April, 1862, at Jurby, when her age was recorded as 83 years. No issue of the marriage have been traced. At the census of 1841 she was a widow living with her unmarried sister, Isabel, at Jurby. At the census of 1851 she was visiting at the home of her sister and brother–in–law William Qualtrough, a freehold farmer at Corvally, Rushen. In 1861 she was living with her niece Jane and husband at Creggans, Lezayre. 3.24.2 John Kinrade (2852) was baptized on the 25th of February, 1780, at Jurby. He married Catherine Crellin on the 7th of November, 1797, at Ballaugh. He died before the census of 1841. See 3.25 for details of his descendants. 3.24.2.1 Catherine Crellin (3448) was baptized on the 31st of August, 1769, at Ballaugh, the daughter of Thomas Crellin & Catherine Taggart. She married John Kinrade on the 7th of November, 1797, at Ballaugh. In 1841 she was living at Carmodil Beg, Ballaugh, apparently a widow. Her age as given as 70 and her occupation as linen spinner. She died in 1843 and was buried at Ballaugh on the 21st of March, when her age was given as 74 years. See 3.25 for details of her descendants. 3.24.3 Isabel Kinrade (2853) was baptized on the 25th of March, 1781, at Jurby. She married William Qualtrough on the 4th of June, 1844, at Jurby (his 3rd wife). She was buried at Rushen on the 10th of November, 1870, when her age was recoreded as 90 years. At the census of 1841 she was living at Jurby with her widowed sister. After her marriage to William she moved to Corvally, Rushen, where she was living at the 1851 census. In 1841 he appears to be an agricultural labourer living at Malew Street, Castletown. Living with him are his younger sister, Catherine, and two of her children. A William Kinrade aged 17 is also living with him. He has not been identified in the 1851 census. 3.25.2 Thomas Kinread (3450) was baptized on the 3rd of August, 1800, at Ballalugh. He married Eleanor Crye on the 10th of May, 1828, at Lezayre, see 7.39.2. In 1841, a labourer, he and his family were living at Old Mill Place, Ramsey. Two children, Arthur and Ann Skillicorn, were living with the family. They were described as “pauper’s children”.In 1851 the family were living at Little Cross, Ramsey. A grand–son, John Woods aged 7 years, is living with the family. The family have not been found in the 1851 census. See 3.26 for details of his descendants. 3.25.3 Robert Kinrade (3451) was baptized on the 3rd of October, 1802, at Ballaugh. He married Catherine Corlett on the 28th of October, 1827. A shoemaker, in 1841 he and his family were living at Gliack, Ballaugh. See 3.27 for details of his descendants. 3.25.3.1 Catherine Corlett (3454) was born circa 1805. She married Robert Kinrade on the 28th of October, 1827, at Ballaugh. In 1841 she was living with her husband and family at Gliack, Ballaugh. She died in 1848 and was buried at Ballaugh on the 20th of April, aged 42 years. See 3.27 for details of her descendants. 3.25.4 Catherine Kinread (3452) was baptized on the 26th of December, 1804, at Ballaugh. In 1841 she appears to be living with her eldest brother, William, at Malew Street, Castletown. She had two children by John Quilliam, though no marriage has been found. In 1851 she was living with her two children at 74, Malew Street, Castletown. The family have not been identified in 1861. 3.25.4.1 John Quilliam was born circa 1800. He fathered two children on Catherine Kinrade. 3.25.4.1.1 Elizabeth Kinread/Quilliam was baptized on the 3rd of February, 1833, at Malew. In 1841 she was living with her mother at Malew Street. Castletown. In 1851 she was living, unmarried, with her mother at 74, Malew Street, Castletown. 3.25.4.1.2 Samuel Kinread/Quilliam was baptized on the 12th of November, 1837, at Malew. In 1841 he was living with his mother at Malew Street, Castletown. In 1851 he was living with his mother at 74, Malew Street, Castletown.
