3.45.1 James Edward Faragher (6694) was born on the 20th of August, 1888, at Lonan,<br />

the son of Edward Faragher & Louisa Jane Kinrade. In 1891 he was living with his<br />

widowed mother at the home of his gran–mother at 2, Ballacollister. In 1901 they<br />

were living at Holly Bank, South Cape.<br />

3.45.2 Thomas Faragher (6695) was born on the 18th of November, 1898, at Lonan.<br />

Only his mother’s name was given. In 1901 he was living with his mother and family<br />

at Holly Bank, South Cape<br />

3.46.1 Thomas Kinrade (6342) was born circa 1888 at Laxey. In 1891 he was living with<br />

his parents at 67, Minorca. In 1901 he was living with his mother and step–father at<br />

Minorca.<br />

3.46.2 John Kinrade (6343) was born on the 3rd of August, 1890, at Laxey. In 1891 he<br />

was living with his parents at 67, Minorca. He did not survive childhood and was<br />

buried on the 24th of December, 1893, at Lonan when his age was recorded as 3<br />

years.<br />

3.46.3 William Kinrade (6696) was born on the 28th of January, 1893, at Laxey. He did<br />

not survive infancy and was buried on the 13th of August, 1893, at Lonan when his<br />

age was recorded as six months.<br />

3.47 John Kinrade—1866<br />

3.47.1 Ellenor Stephen (7014) was baptizedon the 11th of October, 1819, at Ballaugh,<br />

the daughter of William Stephen and Elizabeth Cowan. Though she never married,<br />

at least two children are known.<br />

In 1841 she appears to have been living on the farm of Thomas Cowin at Ballasalla,<br />

Jurby. In 1851 she was living on Intack at Ballaugh and was employed as a wool<br />

spinner. In 1861 she was liivng at Lough Dhoo, Ballaough and was employed as a<br />

spinner. In 1871 she was living at Acre, Jurby, with her unmarried children and<br />

grand–son. At this time she was reored as “fisherman’s mother”. In 1881 she was<br />

living at Ballasalla, Jurby, with her unmarried daughter and gradn–son, when she<br />

was recorded as a pauper. In 1891 she was living with her unmarried daughter and<br />

grand–son at Ballakeig, Ballaugh, when she was in receipt of Parish Relief.<br />
