In 1891 he was living with his widowed mother at the home of his gran–mother at 2, Ballacollister. In 1901 they were living at Holly Bank, South Cape. 3.45.2 Thomas Faragher (6695) was born on the 18th of November, 1898, at Lonan. Only his mother’s name was given. In 1901 he was living with his mother and family at Holly Bank, South Cape 3.46 The Childen of Thomas Kinrade & Elizabeth Quine Number & Name Type & Birthdate Place/Notes 6342 Thomas 1888 Lonan 6343 John A 3rd Aug1890 Lonan 6696 William A 28th Jan 1893 Lonan 3.46.1 Thomas Kinrade (6342) was born circa 1888 at Laxey. In 1891 he was living with his parents at 67, Minorca. In 1901 he was living with his mother and step–father at Minorca. 3.46.2 John Kinrade (6343) was born on the 3rd of August, 1890, at Laxey. In 1891 he was living with his parents at 67, Minorca. He did not survive childhood and was buried on the 24th of December, 1893, at Lonan when his age was recorded as 3 years. 3.46.3 William Kinrade (6696) was born on the 28th of January, 1893, at Laxey. He did not survive infancy and was buried on the 13th of August, 1893, at Lonan when his age was recorded as six months. 3.47 John Kinrade—1866 3.47.1 Ellenor Stephen (7014) was baptizedon the 11th of October, 1819, at Ballaugh, the daughter of William Stephen and Elizabeth Cowan. Though she never married, at least two children are known. In 1841 she appears to have been living on the farm of Thomas Cowin at Ballasalla, Jurby. In 1851 she was living on Intack at Ballaugh and was employed as a wool spinner. In 1861 she was liivng at Lough Dhoo, Ballaough and was employed as a spinner. In 1871 she was living at Acre, Jurby, with her unmarried children and grand–son. At this time she was reored as “fisherman’s mother”. In 1881 she was living at Ballasalla, Jurby, with her unmarried daughter and gradn–son, when she was recorded as a pauper. Family History, Volume III Kinrade - Jurby 3 - 29 3.48 The Children of Ellenor Stephen Number & Name Type & Birthdate Place/Notes 7016 William B 25th Jan 1837 Ballaugh 7017 Elizabeth B 29th Jan 1846 Ballaugh Robert B 21st Feb 1852 Ballaugh 3.48.1 William Quiggin (7016) was baptized on the 25th of January, 1837, at Ballaugh, the son of William Quiggin (7015) and Ellenor Stephen. Although the names of both parnts were recorded no marriage has been found for his parents and his mother was always recorded as “unmarried” in the census returns. In 1841 he appears to have been living with Ann Kelly at Crote Davy Steene, Ballaugh. In 1851 he was living with his unmarried mother on an Intack in Ballaugh. In 1861 he was living with his mother at Lough Dhoo, Ballaugh, and was employed as an agricultural labourer. 3.48.2 Elizabeth Gill (7017) was baptized on the 29th of January, 1846 at Ballaugh. Only her mother’s name was recorded. In 1851, as Betsy, she was living with her unmarried mother on an Intack in Ballaugh. In 1861 as Elizabeth Gale she was working as an house servant to Jane Kelly at Lhergy Rhenny, Lezayre. In 1871 she was living with her unmarried mother and son at Acre, Jurby, when she was employed as a farm labourer. In 1881 she was living with her unmarried mother and son in a cottage at Ballasalla, Jurby, when she was employed as a general servant. In 1891 she was living with her unmarried mother and son at Ballakeig, Ballaugh, when she was employed as a farm servant. In 1901 she was living at Ballakinnag, Ballaugh, and was employed as an agricultrual labourer. 3.48.3 Robert Stephen was baptized on the 21st of February, 1852, at Ballaugh. Only his mother’s name was recorded. In 1861 he was living with his unmarried mother at Lough Dhoo, Ballaugh. 3.49 The Children of Elizabth Gill Number & Name Type & Birthdate Place/Notes 7018 John B 30th Sep 1866 Jurby 3.49.1 John Kinrade (7018) was baptized on the 30th of September, 1866, at Jurby. In 1871 he was living with his unmarried mother at Acre, Jurby. In 1881 he was lving with his unmarried mother in a cottage at Ballasalla, Jurby. In 1891 he was living with his unmarried mother and grand–mother at Ballakeig, Ballaugh, when he was employed as an agricultural labourer. He has not been indentified inthe 1901 census.
