In 1841 she was living with her parents at Lezayre. In 1871 she was living on the
family farm at Killabregga. In 1881 she was living with family on the farm of her
brother, John. In 1891 she and her family were living at Ballahane, Andreas. In
1901 she and her husband were living at Lewaigue, Maughold.
3.33.5 Robert Kinread (3859) was baptized on the on the 17th of October, 1841, at
Sulby. He married Sophia Kneale on the 9th of June, 1883, at Lezayre, when his age
was recorded as 40 years. He was buried on the 14th of March, 1921, at Lezayre
when his age was recorded as 79 years. See 3.36 for details of his descendants.
In 1851 he was living with his parents at Lezayre. In 1861 he was living with his
widowed mother at Killey Braga, Lezayre. He has not been positively identified in
1871 but was probably on the vessel “Tornado”. In 1881 he was living on the family
farm at Killabraga. In 1891 he and his family were living on his wife’s family farm at
Staward. In 1901 the family were living on the Kneale family’s farm at Ballabrooie,
Lezayre.
3.33.5.1 Sophia Kneal (6380) was baptized on the 15th of October, 1854, at Sulby, the
daughter of William Kneale & Catherine Quayle. She married Robert Kinrade on the
9th of June, 1883, at Lezayre when her age was recorded as 27 years. She was buried
on the 14th of August, 1942, at Lezayre when her age was recorded as 87 years. See
3.36 for details of her descendants.
3.33.6 Mary Kinread (3860) was baptized on the 12th of January, 1843, at Sulby. In 1851
she was living with parents at Lezayre. In 1861 she was living with her widowed
mother at Killey Braga, Lezayre.
3.33.7 Catherine Hannah Kinread (3861) was baptized on the 12th of March, 1845, at
Sulby. She married John James Hampton (see 19.7.2) on the 10th of February, 1872,
at Jurby. She was buried on the 15th of June, 1908, at Andreas when her age was
recorded as 68 years. See 19.8 for details of her descendants.
In 1851 she was living with her parents at Lezayre. In 1861 she was head nurse to
the family of Richard Rowe, the mine manager, Laxey. In 1871 she was a house
servant to John Corran at Ballacain Veg, Ballaugh.
3.33.8 Elizabeth Kinread (3862) was baptized on the 9th of August, 1846, at Sulby. In
1851 she was living with her parents at Lezayre. In 1861 she was living with her
widowed mother at Killey Braga, Lezayre.
3.33.9 William Edward Kinread (3863) was baptized on the 16th of April, 1849, at
Sulby. In 1851 he was living with his parents at Lezayre. In 1861 and 1871 he was
living with his widowed mother on the family farm at Killey Braga, Lezayre. In
1881/91 he was still unmarried and living on the family farm at Lezayre. He died on
the 18th of June 1914 at Dhoon.
