<strong>Cashew</strong> Nut Toffee<br />

Ingredients<br />

Serves 12-15<br />

1. 100g cashew nuts<br />

2. 100g cup sugar<br />

3. 1 teaspoon water<br />

4. 2 tablespoon margarine or butter<br />

Directions<br />

1. Crush nuts on a pastry board with a<br />

rolling pin<br />

2. Dissolve sugar in water<br />

3. Melt butter in a pot, and then add<br />

dissolved sugar and stir well until<br />

golden brown<br />

4. Add cashew nuts, mix well<br />

5. Pour on to a wet pastry board,<br />

using wet rolling pin, roll out until<br />

it is about a third an inch thick<br />

6. Cut into various shapes<br />

7. Leave to cool<br />

8. Arrange on plate and serve<br />
