They are and do still remain the embodiment of
the MTB: Classic 26” bikes with all the advantages
of a robust and reliable off-roader. Also in
Season 2014, CENTURION continues the wellproven
concept of aluminium starter models and
has even given it an upgrade: The “EQ” variant
of our Backfire is excellent for city cycling and
compliant to all road traffic regulations. All versions
come along with a moderately sportive
geometry.
You are not obliged to hunt for highest athletic
laurels as soon as you ride an MTB! And especially
not if the latter is named Backfire FIT and
is specifically designed for transferring the basic
advantages of a robust 26“ off-roader to a cycling
level particularly suitable in your free time.
Due to the shorter top tube and to the lower BB
position, this hardtail is a real recommendation
for all those who want to pedal in a leisurely way.
Framework conditions specifically for ladies: The
26” and the 29” bikes of our EVE series equally
convince with a longer headtube, a lower BB position
and a special top tube geometry. But even
if “she” does not only look for any functional peculiarities:
The distinct frame decors or the lady
saddle with its intelligent adaption to the female
anatomy will surely convince “her” at the latest
that EVE comes directly from paradise.
We happily remember some events from childhood
days for our lifetime: the first soccer goal,
the first night in a summer camp, the first kiss. And
what about the first bike? Unfortunately, the first
bike is often not the right one and is thus forgotten
very soon. CENTURION has something against
that – in a double literal sense! Already our 12“
trainer bikes are designed to supply maximum joy
for children and parents.
