The Junior League of Minneapolis (JLM) Announces New Board of
Directors
The New Board of Directors will lead the Junior League of Minneapolis for the 2009-
2010 league year
MINNEAPOLIS (June 18, 2009) — The Junior League of Minneapolis announces their new
board of directors for the 2009-2010 league year.
President of the Board of Directors – Anna Lyon
Joined the league in 1999; employed as General Manager of Midwest Global Accounts at
InterCall; previously served as the president elect for the JLM.
President Elect of the Board of Directors – Sarah Borchers
Joined the league in 2004; previously served as the VP Community for the JLM.
Chief Financial Officer of the Board of Directors – Katy Farley
Joined the league in 2005; employed as a Senior Investment Analyst at Travelers; previously
served as the treasurer for the JLM.
Legal Advisor – Jennifer Reusse
Joined the league in 2006; employed as a real estate attorney at Moss & Barnett; previously
served as the chair of the programs and arrangements committee for the JLM.
Sustainer President – Cynthia A. Courtney
League member for over 30 years; previously served as the Sustainer President Elect for the
JLM.
Sustainer President Elect – Mary Cederberg
Joined the league in 1987; currently also serves on the Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery
Board of Directors, previously served on the Sustainer Board as a Sustainer Representative to
Project Development with the JLM.
VP Fundraising – Lorie Gardner
JLM member for 7 years; currently a commodities broker at I.T.T. Holdings, Corp; previously
served on the Training and Leadership Development committee for the JLM.

VP Projects – Suzie Wilmot
Joined the JLM in 1999; employed by Pentair, Inc. as the International Tax Counsel; previously
served as the chair of the Eve of the Eve fundraiser for the JLM.
Sustainer Representative - Lisa Weisman
Joined the JLM in 1991; employed by YouthLink as a development associate, previously served
as the Sustainer Representative to the Helping Hands Committee for the JLM.
Vice President of Administration – Maggie Kirchoff
Joined the JLM in 2004; employed as an Audit Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers; previously
served as the CFO of the JLM.
Vice President of Community – Rachel LaTour
Joined the league in 2001; active volunteer with the Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery, Gilda’s
Club and Second Harvest Heartland; previously served as the chair of the Training and
Leadership Development Committee for the JLM.
Recording Secretary - Kerry Mahoney
Joined the league in 2003; employed as a Sales Manager for Clearfield; previously served as
the chair the Special Events, Gifts and Grants Committee for the JLM.
Vice President of Membership – Rachel Smith
Joined the league in 2002; previously served as the Chair of the New Member Committee for
the JLM.
Vice President of Marketing – Leah Maki
Joined the league in 2006; previously served as the Chair of the External Communications
Committee for the JLM.

The Junior League of Minneapolis (JLM) is a nonprofit organization made up of women
committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the
community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Established in
1923, the JLM continues to develop projects to fill needs within the Minneapolis community.
Past projects include helping to found the Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery, Free Arts MN
and the Jeremiah Program. Current projects address issues from hunger to nutrition to literacy.
