ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME
The Joseph Badger Local Athletic Hall of Fame honors
those graduates of Badger High School who have either
excelled in athletics or who have made significant
athletic contributions to the school or community. A
maximum of five honorees will be inducted annually at
one of the boys’ basketball games
during the season. Applications for
nomination may be picked up in the
Athletic Director’s office or on our Jamie Bronson
website: www.joseph-badger.k12.oh.us.
Applications must be submitted by September 30 th for
consideration. Congratulations to the 2011 inductees:
Ron Romine, Class of 1970 and Jamie Bronson, Class of
Ron Romine 1981.
BADGER ELEMENTARY MOVES TO 6 WEEK GRADING PERIODS
Following careful consideration and much input from parents, the county
office (TCESC) and parent groups, Badger Elementary School (BES) has
moved to a 6-week grading period effective 2011-2012 school year.
Academics has been and continues to be the top priority for BES
particularly, when early intervention has been proven to produce the
most positive academic results. The 6-week grade reporting period is the
school’s continued effort to keep parents informed about the academic
progress of their children. The 6-week grade reporting period also
provides an opportunity for teachers and parents to intervene early and
often with at-risk students and students with special needs. A schedule
of interim and report card dates follows:
