Employment news
Following is information regarding new employees.
Two new full-time employees have accepted positions with the
college.
Bev Benge, coordinator of business development for Corporate
and Continuing Education and marketing and public information.
Richard Schultz, coordinator of the Sustainability Center for the
sustainability and planning department.
In the coming weeks, there will be a longer introduction of Bev and
Richard.
Here's more about James Carr, Charles Cruz, and Emily Skelly,
who were introduced in the Sept. 15 Update.
James Carr is a custodian for Physical Plant Department.
In this position, his area of responsibility is the activities building
and the Fitness Center.
Previously, James worked as a substitute custodian for District
111. He also is continuing in his part-time job in the construction
industry.
At KCC, James participated in an apprenticeship program in the
1980s where he learned painting, wallpapering and other skills.
James can be reached at ext. 8174.
Charles Cruz is a custodian for Physical Plant
Department.
In this position, his area of responsibility is the
Health Careers Center for Excellence.
Previously, Charles was a part-time custodian for
KCC and he also worked at Jewel.
One of Charles' sons is currently attending KCC,
studying electronics technology.
