<strong>KAHRAMAA</strong> & Qtel<br />

Join Hands for Utility Bill Payments<br />

on Qtel Self Service Machines<br />

<strong>KAHRAMAA</strong> launched an ambitious<br />

new partnership with<br />

Qtel to meet the needs of<br />

customers.<br />

Through the cooperation<br />

agreement, the two entities will be able to provide<br />

shared services for all their customers,<br />

providing support for almost the entire population<br />

of Qatar.<br />

The first step of this cooperative agreement<br />

will be linking their payment systems, so that<br />

customers can pay bills and update their accounts<br />

at Qtel’s nationwide network of Self-<br />

Service Machines (SSM). This will be among<br />

the first times in the world that a major water<br />

and power corporation has linked payment<br />

services with a leading telecommunications<br />

operator.<br />

This agreement stresses that both parties are<br />

committed to improve customer services and<br />

support customers as and when they need it.<br />

Through this integrated payment systems, we<br />

will be providing around-the-clock service and<br />

delivering convenience and security for all.<br />

With over 220 Qtel SSMs mostly located at 24<br />

hours open locations including super markets,<br />

airport, malls and petrol stations across the<br />

country, the new agreement means that customers<br />

can quickly and easily pay electricity<br />

and water bills. They will also be able to use<br />

Qtel’s Drive-Through SSMs, so that they can<br />

fully manage their accounts without leaving the<br />

comfort of their cars.<br />

In addition, customers will also be able to pay<br />

via the convenient customer service portals,<br />

www.qtel.qa, km.qa<br />

Qtel and <strong>KAHRAMAA</strong> will work to extend the<br />

agreement in the coming months to offer enhanced<br />

services for customers, as well as investigating<br />

other areas of potential cooperation.<br />
