In November Alberts hosted their first
client styling lounge, a fantastic evening
attended by over 40 style savvy woman,
in conjunction with ghd. It was an evening
about sharing the knowledge and teaching
techniques that you are able to replicate
at home, a fantastic night transforming
our guests’ hair into an array of beautiful
curls, waves and volume. “We have
more of these evenings planned for
2010 so look out for our next Alberts
styling lounge.”
She also realizes that a happy relaxed
environment where staff enjoy their work,
provides a wonderful atmosphere for
clients. “We have created an environment
where people can enjoy a special ‘me’
time, some mums arrive exhausted, but
they can relax and be pampered, having
their hair styled and coloured is a guaranteed
way to give you a lift and the cream
on the cake is our complimentary mini
makeovers where clients are introduced
to Jane Iredale our 100% natural mineral
makeup range, clients walk out feeling like
a million dollars!”
Natasha, a mother of two lively young boys,
Bailey (3 ½) and 20month old Connor
knows how important it is for mums and
busy professional woman to take time for
some pampering! She and husband Scott
co-owner of Alberts and a local Pukekohe
businessman are blessed with a close
knit, supportive family. The couple live in
Ardmore near the original strawberry farm,
where their children can enjoy the same
country upbringing as the young Albert.
Natasha began her apprenticeship with
Georgia Hutchinson at Georges in Parnell,
and after 3 and a half years moved back
to the Franklin area to work in local salons.
However it was her early training that
inspired her to create a “city” experience
in her local area. Natasha says “At
Alberts we realise that we can make a huge
difference in not only how our clients
look, but how they feel. Our salon has
been designed to make our clients feel
special from their first contact through
to their departure. It is a time to be
welcomed, pampered, listened to and
cared for in a relaxed and friendly “family”
environment . We believe in providing our
clients with knowledge and information
so they can achieve the same results at
home as they get at the salon”.
