APPOINTMENT OF OIC POLYCLINIC<br />
1. Further to our letter No B/49722/AG/<strong>ECHS</strong> dated 10 Nov 2004 and even No dated 10 Sep<br />
2004.<br />
2. This office is receiving many querries regarding educational qualification for appointment of<br />
OIC Polyclinic.<br />
3. As per Govt of India, Department of Personnel & A.R. Min of Home Affairs letter No<br />
39016/7/78-Estt© dated 10 May 1979 the qualification of GRADUATE may not be insisted upon as<br />
this has been relaxed in respect of those commissioned officers who passes out of NDA/IMA<br />
before the decision was taken by Jawahar Lal Nehru University to re-cognize their qualification as<br />
equivalent to university degree. This is further subject to the condition that the candidate was<br />
holding regular commissioned rank in the Armed Forces for a minimum period of 5 years, the<br />
record of military service was satisfactory and he is otherwise considered suitable for appointment<br />
to the post by the Board of Officers.<br />
4. In view of the above, any commissioned officer meeting the requirement stated in Para 3<br />
above may be considered for the Post of OIC, <strong>ECHS</strong> Polyclinic. However, only retired service<br />
officers who are drawing PENSION will be eligible for the above appointment. In this connection,<br />
your attention is invited to Para 4(a) of our letter No B/49722/AG/<strong>ECHS</strong> dated 10 Sep 2004.<br />
