Acharya Nagarjuna University 21 Centre for Distance Education 3.4 COMMERCE AND MANAGEMENT COURSES ␣ 3.4.1 MASTER OF COMMERCE (M.Com.)(Course Code :12 - Accounting, 13 - Banking) a. Eligibility for admission into the course: Pass in B.Com. and B.B.M. degree␣ examination of this University or that of any other university recognised as equivalent thereto. b. Duration of the course: Two Years. c. Medium of Instruction : The medium of instruction for the contact programme classes and the self instructional reading material supplied by the centre for distance education will be in English only. The students are, however, given an option to write the university examinations in either English or Telugu medium. d. Course of study: At the end of the first year, the candidate has to appear for the M.Com previous examination. The previous examination consists of five papers and final examination consists of five papers as given in the course structure. In the second year, the candidate has to choose one of the mentioned elective groups consisting of three papers in addition to the two compulsory papers. However the CDE can offer both / either of the elective groups depending on the enrolment. The electives that are offered by the CDE will be decided at the commencement of the second year.
