If you are a student you can buy <strong>the</strong> cheaper ticket, which is available <strong>at</strong> all BVG ticket<br />

booths <strong>and</strong> in <strong>the</strong> train st<strong>at</strong>ions. To apply for a Ausbildungsticket you need a:<br />

“Bestellschein für das Firmenticket”. You may choose <strong>the</strong> tariff zones as necessary. Children<br />

up to 6 years <strong>and</strong> luggage are uncluded.<br />

5.3 Shopping in <strong>Berlin</strong><br />

<strong>Berlin</strong> is a shopping paradise, as <strong>the</strong>re is nearly nothing th<strong>at</strong> one cannot buy. Most of <strong>the</strong><br />

shops in <strong>the</strong> city are open from Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., <strong>and</strong> on<br />

S<strong>at</strong>urday from 9:00 a.m. to <strong>at</strong> least 4:00 p.m., or even to 6.00 p.m. or 8.00 p.m. Several shops<br />

outside of <strong>the</strong> city center have shorter shopping times.<br />
