Operation of the masks
3.3.1 Left and right information window
Most of the masks contain two information windows (fig. 3-1, 4) which are located above
the work window.
Note
The contents of the working and information windows illustrated in this operating manual
are examples and need not necessarily be the same as the contents of your tester.
The left-hand information window displays the following information:
• 1st line: Name of the operating mode (Vehicle Self-Diagnosis, Applications, Guided
Fault Finding, Guided Functions, Administration).
• 2nd line: Name of the function activated in the respective operating mode
• 3rd and 4th line: Operating instructions (e.g.: Select engine code), status (e.g.: Function
not found) or detailed information on the displayed function.
