Is there anywhere in this prayer that Jesus said <strong>to</strong><br />
say, "in Jesus na<strong>me</strong>" when you pray? For this<br />
prayer was the answer <strong>to</strong> the question; how should<br />
we pray? Everything a God fearing person could<br />
ever need or ask of God is in this prayer. Most<br />
importantly, the forgiveness of our trespasses<br />
(sins). This prayer supports the good ne<strong>ws</strong> of Jesus<br />
that sins are forgiven by God only if a person<br />
repents and s<strong>to</strong>p their wrong doings. This <strong>me</strong>ssage<br />
was the beginning of Jesus' ministry as stated in<br />
Matthew 4:17:<br />
From that ti<strong>me</strong> Jesus began <strong>to</strong> preach, and <strong>to</strong><br />
say, "Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at<br />
hand."<br />
Jesus prophesied that people will worship him<br />
uselessly and will believe in doctrines not made by<br />
God but by <strong>me</strong>n (Matthew 15:9):
