Ishmaelities (descendants of Abraham through<br />
Ishmael). Jesus is excluded from this prophecy<br />
because he is an Israelite; otherwise the verse<br />
would read, "a Prophet from among themselves."8<br />
Let's compare a few crucial characteristics of<br />
Moses, Moham<strong>me</strong>d and Jesus which may clarify<br />
the identity of that prophet "like you (Moses)"<br />
