Early Sunday morning, Mary Magdalene went <strong>to</strong><br />
the sepulchre, which was empty. She saw<br />
so<strong>me</strong>body standing who looked like a gardener.<br />
She recognized him after a conversation <strong>to</strong> be<br />
Jesus and wanted <strong>to</strong> <strong>to</strong>uch him. Jesus said (John<br />
20:17):<br />
"Touch <strong>me</strong> not; for I am not yet ascended <strong>to</strong> my<br />
Father..."g<br />
Now read Luke 24:36-41:<br />
"And as they [disciples] thus spake, Jesus<br />
himself s<strong>to</strong>od in the midst of them and saith<br />
un<strong>to</strong> them, Peace be un<strong>to</strong> you. But they were<br />
terrified and frightened, and supposed that they<br />
had seen a spirit. And he said un<strong>to</strong> them, Why<br />
are you troub<strong>led</strong>? And why so thoughts arise in<br />
your hearts? Behold my hands and my feet,<br />
that it is I myself: handle <strong>me</strong>, and see; for a<br />
spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see <strong>me</strong><br />
have. And when he had thus spoken, he shewed<br />
them his hands and his feet. And while they yet<br />
believed not for joy, and wondered, he said<br />
