20 The picture was taken during a speech of Dagestani. A part of the speech is given in the Arabic
sentences on the right of the picture. The translation of the paragraph is : We paid visits to embassies
of more than 30 countries. However, none of them gave any accurate information about
the number of Circassian population in Iraq. When we paid a visit to the Russian Ambassador
in Iraq Jafil Hasan, he said they do not have any information on Dagestanis who immigrated
to Iraq, but that hundreds of Circassians served within the Iraqi army. According to the official
figures, approximately 15 thousand Circassians live in Iraq. Circassians living in Iraq settled in
southern Erbil, Zaho, and Duhok.”
21 The translation of the Arabic sentence under the Emblem is: “One for all, all for one”
