Sub-committees included in the Department of the Premier <strong>and</strong> Cabinet list of<br />
Paid <strong>Government</strong> hoards <strong>and</strong> committees as of 19 January <strong>2012</strong> (totalling 372)<br />
satisfy the criteria for <strong>Government</strong> boards <strong>and</strong> committees to be listed on the<br />
Database <strong>and</strong> also satisfy the criteria for listing on the Register of <strong>Government</strong><br />
boards <strong>and</strong> committees.<br />
The information received by the Commission during this review from portfolios<br />
<strong>and</strong> agencies is correct <strong>and</strong> complete.<br />
Consultation<br />
The Commission formally consulted with all portfolios in finalising the review <strong>and</strong><br />
reconciliation of <strong>Government</strong> boards <strong>and</strong> committees, specifically portfolios were<br />
requested to provide a whole of ministerial portfolio response to the consultation draft<br />
of the review report, including:<br />
verification that the data in the report on boards <strong>and</strong> committees that are the<br />
responsibility of your ministerial portfolio is accurate <strong>and</strong> correct;<br />
advising of any required amendments, changes or additions to the data in the<br />
report on boards <strong>and</strong> committees that are the responsibility of your ministerial<br />
portfolio; <strong>and</strong><br />
providing any comments or views on the draft review recommendations.<br />
Responses <strong>and</strong> comments received were incorporated by the Commission in the<br />
further final report where they were considered reliable <strong>and</strong> appropriate.<br />
Further consultation was undertaken prior to <strong>and</strong> post Cabinet consideration of the<br />
further final report, responses <strong>and</strong> comments received were incorporated by the<br />
Commission in the ultimate final report where they were considered reliable <strong>and</strong><br />
appropriate.<br />
