Ward Population:<br />
The population sizes for the fourteen wards vary from 1 708 people in<br />
ward 13 to 12 422 people in ward 12. Although ward 35 has a<br />
population greater than that of ward 13 it has a critical deficient of<br />
infrastructure, although ward 13 has less infrastructure as compared to<br />
other wards, indicating the relationship that exists between<br />
infrastructural distribution and the population.<br />
Health Facilities:<br />
All the clinics do not have resident doctors. The constituency only have<br />
2 rural hospitals that offer services that are offered by clinics of which<br />
none has a resident doctor, and the residents have to look elsewhere<br />
for specialised treatments.<br />
Education:<br />
The constituency does not have even a single ‘A’ Level school. All the<br />
secondary schools in the constituency offer classes up to ‘O’ Level<br />
therefore forcing the pupils to travel to other schools to access<br />
advanced secondary education.<br />
Farms:<br />
The constituency is characterised by high commercial farming activity,<br />
with 35% of the wards being agricultural zones and comprising of<br />
farms.<br />
