7.2 Ward 12<br />

There are 12422 people in the ward. There are 6 primary schools and 2<br />

secondary schools in the ward. The ward has 2 health facilities and 7<br />

business centres. There is 1 project being funded by the Ministry of Gender.<br />

Education: The primary schools in ward 12 are known asChironga, Chitsva,<br />

Domboreshato, Mubvurungwa, Muporeri and St Columbus. The secondary<br />

schools are Chitsva and Chiundu. Chitsva has a total enrolment of 288 of<br />

which 131 are girls, lower than the 157 of boys. Chiundu has a total enrolment<br />

of 725 and 338 are girls.<br />

Health Facilities: The ward has two health facilities known as Mabvurungwa<br />

and Tandi. Both are clinics.<br />

Gender Project: There is only one operational project in the ward which<br />

deals in poultry and is owned by a female.<br />

Animal Health and Management Facilities: The ward has 4 dip tanks<br />

namely Chironga, Deda, Tandi and Mahande.<br />

NGOs: The ward does not have any registered NGOs operating in any sector.<br />
