The ward has a population of 1708 people. Ward 13 has the lowest number<br />

of people in the constituency. The Ward has 1 primary school, 1 secondary<br />

school and 1 clinic.<br />

Education: The primary school in ward 13 is known as Dowa. The<br />

secondary school in the ward is Gwagwadza. The school is a day school<br />

which offers classes up to ‘O’ Level. Gwagwadza has a total enrolment of 249<br />

of which 102 are girls, 45 less than the enrolment of boys.<br />

Health Facilities: Dowa is the only health facility in ward 13. The clinic is<br />

characterised by 2 maternity beds and is owned by council.<br />

The ward has 2 business centres.<br />

Animal Health and Management Facilities: Ward 13 has 4 dip tanks. The<br />

dip tanks have a census of between 456 and 855.<br />

NGOs: Ward 2 has no registered NGOs operating in it.<br />

Gender Project: There are no projects that are operational in ward 13. The<br />

residents of ward 13 have to be given access to these income generating<br />

projects so that they become self reliant.<br />

This ward has a population of 11683 and has 8 primary schools, 2 secondary,<br />

1 clinic, and 6 dip tanks. The ward has the highest number of primary schools<br />

in the constituency.<br />

Education: The primary schools in ward 14 are St Vincent, Chimuduro,<br />

Chiunya, Chizawana, Madzingidzi, Maungwe, Mutendebvure and Tswatswa.
