7.9 Ward 26<br />
Ward 26 has a population of 9262 people. The councillor is one of the two<br />
female councillors in the constituency. There are 6 primary schools, 2<br />
secondary schools and there is 1 health facility.<br />
Education: The primary schools in ward 26 are known as Chakuma,<br />
Chinembiri, Gurure, Kadzunge, St Alban and Mupanguri. The secondary<br />
schools are Ruhwerumwe and Ruwombwe. The two offer classes up to ‘O’<br />
Level and of the two Ruhwerumwe has the lowest total enrolment, having only<br />
126 pupils.<br />
Health Facilities: The ward has 1 clinic called Toriro which has got 4<br />
maternity beds and 4 general beds at its disposal.<br />
