33 41 00 STORM UTILITY DRAINAGE PIPING

F. Polyvinyl Chloride Pipe: ASTM D2729; plain end, inside diameter as shown on drawings, with
required fittings.
G. Corrugated Plastic Tubing: Flexible type; inside diameter as shown on drawings, with required
fittings.
H. Backwater Valve: Rectorseal Clean Check ® or approved equal
2.2 BEDDING AND COVER MATERIALS
A. Bedding: Fill Type as specified in Section 31 05 13.
B. Cover: Fill Type as specified in Section 31 05 13.
C. Subdrainage pervious Fill Materials: 1 ¼ ” – ¼” clean drain rock.
2.3 RIPRAP MATERIALS
A. Furnish materials in accordance with OSSC standards
B. Riprap: Broken stone Irregular shaped rock size as shown on drawings.
2.4 ACCESSORIES
A. Geotextile Fabric: Non-biodegradable, woven & non-woven.
1. AMOCO, Mirafi or approved equal
B. Fittings: Same material as pipe molded or formed to suit pipe size and end design, in required tee,
bends, elbows, clean-outs, reducers, traps and other configurations required.
C. Trace Wire: Magnetic detectable conductor, clear, brightly colored plastic covering, imprinted with
"Storm Sewer Service" in large letters. Brimar or approved equal
2.5 CATCH BASINS, TRENCH DRAINS AND AREA DRAINS
A. Parking Lot Trapped Inlets: Square as indicated on the Drawings, Lynch style catch basin. Gibson
Steel or approved equal
1. H20 Load rated, 10 guage asphalt dipped steel.
2. Lid design: Square, bike proof linear grill.
3. Nominal lid and frame size: as shown on drawings.
B. Area Drain: Square as indicated on the Drawings. Gibson Steel or approved equal.
1. 10 ga. asphalt dipped steel, adapted for ADA grate where shown on drawings.
2. Lid design: square bar, or ADA grate
3. Nominal lid and frame size: as shown on drawings
C. Trench Drain: As indicated on the drawings, H20 load rated
1. ACO Drain Klassik Drain or approved equal.
a. Grate: Shall be Ductile Iron, meeting ADA requirements, ACO Drain - Mosaic Iron
or approved equal.
b. Catch Basin: ACO Drain K900 with trash bucket or approved equal.
2.6 CLEANOUTS
A. Cleanout Lid and Frame: Cast iron construction, as indicated on drawings.
1. Lid Design: Standard cast iron frame and cover.
