We have shown that two data streams, derived from a data stream of rate R2, can be sent<br />

in parallel on the same RF channel and at the same bandwidth as a single data stream<br />

having half the bit rate, R1. At the receiver end, the demodulation process of each of the<br />

split bit streams is exactly the same as it would be for the binary phase shift modulation<br />
