• Disposition kinetics, pharmacokinetic modelling<br />
• Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR)<br />
• High–resolution NMR spectroscopy<br />
• Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI): k–space sampling techniques, fast MRI, functional<br />
MRI, spectroscopic imaging<br />
• Detection of weak signals, hyperpolarisation<br />
• Data analysis in diagnostic imaging, image reconstruction and segmentation<br />
Objective: To provide a comprehensive introduction into morphological and physiological<br />
imaging and spin– and radioactive–tracer techniques.<br />
Necessary/useful Knowledge: detector physics, rf-electronics, image processing, basics<br />
of biochemistry.<br />
