Plan of time implementation It is suggested that Port Lobito should be improved to a preliminary modern port in 3.5 years, which is arranged in three steps including rehabilitation works, extension works (phase I) and updating works. ☆1 st stage: to rehab the existing quays in one year; ☆2 nd stage: to make the overall plan of Lobito Port and fulfill the Extension Work (phase I) in 2 years; ☆ 3 rd stage: to update the existing quay area in one year. After 3 rd stage, other projects such as container terminal, mineral terminal, fishery harbor and industry terminal (oil, product oil and cement, etc.) in master plan will be carried out step by step.
